THE BEST THING ABOUT THE LOCATION<\/strong><\/p>\n Hotel Vista las Islas is the perfect retreat with the perfect location. No other hotel in Costa Rica offers a view that even comes close. There are many ocean view accommodations, but no other hotel offers such spectacular views of the islands.<\/p>\n It is also the only hotel in the region that is located in close proximity to all 18 islands around the southern Nicoya Peninsula. In addition to tours to Isla Tortuga, the Hotel Vista las Islas is the ideal starting point for a trip to San Pedro Island - also known as "Monkey Island" - or for an exploration tour of the infamous San Lucas Island, which once served as a prison island.<\/p>\n Not only are we the first hotel you reach after the ferry crossing from Puntarenas - a connection to the busy tourist region of the Nicoya Peninsula - but we are also close to three different airports (including two international).<\/p>\n Vista las Islas is located near Paquera (about 10 minutes by car), a town with supermarkets, a police station, a medical center, a fire department and restaurants. Guests can choose between our 5 stand-alone bungalows with a total of 15 rooms with panoramic views of the islands. In addition to the 15 guest rooms, the hotel has 2 apartments. These can be used either as guest suites or as living quarters for the owners or the General Manager.<\/p>\n Our inviting standard rooms are equipped with either two queen-size beds or one king-size bed. High-quality bedding, cotton sheets and blackout curtains ensure a restful sleep. Amenities include a 32-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels, air conditioning (AC), an in-room safe, free Wi-Fi, a small refrigerator and a ceiling fan. The private bathroom with shower has free toiletries and a hairdryer. Each room has a private balcony with unique panoramic views of the islands.<\/p>\n Four of the 15 rooms are equipped as deluxe rooms and offer even more comfort. They each have a king-size bed and a queen-size bed and offer plenty of space to relax. In addition to the amenities of the standard rooms, the deluxe rooms have a larger balcony, a coffee machine and a bathroom with a panoramic shower (including hand shower) from which you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Pacific and its islands. Each room has a private balcony with the unique panoramic view of the islands.<\/p>\n The apartment in the main building has three separate bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a living room with kitchen and a spacious common area. It offers a total of three king-size beds, a single bed and a sofa bed. The two balconies offer a beautiful view of the sea and the islands.<\/p>\n The second apartment has a bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and living room with access to a spacious private garden with stunning views.<\/p>\n Experience a truly natural, organic dining experience in our beautifully located open-air restaurant, using only the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. Accompanied by the nightly sounds of the jungle, every dinner becomes a musical experience. The restaurant "El Gran Mirador" has space for up to 45 guests.<\/p>\n In times when industrial agriculture pollutes fruit and vegetables with pesticides, we consciously want to make a difference. For all our dishes, we use as many fruits, vegetables and herbs as possible from our own hotel garden. Our fish and seafood comes from an excellent local fisherman in Puntarenas, where we can guarantee absolute freshness and sustainable fishing.<\/p>\n The property of the Hotel Vista las Islas extends over 19,942 m\u00b2. This includes both the hotel grounds with all buildings as well as fertile land that offers a variety of possible uses.<\/p>\n The hotel was built by Swiss civil engineers and is under Swiss management. Safety, stability and the highest quality were top priorities throughout the entire construction process.<\/p>\n To ensure maximum safety for guests, Hotel Vista las Islas was built using a combination of advanced construction techniques. It is made of a sturdy steel structure and high-strength concrete that is up to twice as strong as conventional concrete. This means that even in the event of a strong earthquake, the building remains intact and cannot collapse or collapse.<\/p>\n The stability of our construction was impressively demonstrated during the earthquake in November 2011 (magnitude 7.5 on the Richter scale) - no damage was caused to our buildings. In addition, all windows are made of safety glass.
