The finca is located in the southern part of the Nicoya Peninsula, safe and quiet in nature with a breathtaking view of the valley and the surrounding mountains. Since there is always a light breeze it is very pleasant, but it is not far to the beautiful beaches. Located just above the village of Monta\u00f1a Grande, it has all the necessary infrastructure (water, electricity 110\/240, internet, telephone, paths, etc.).<\/p>\n
The two stylish houses with infinity pools, fencing and storage areas offer comfortable space for two families (of course one house can also be used as a rental property).<\/p>\n
Despite the quiet location, a school and a bar with restaurant in Monta\u00f1a Grande are only 3 minutes away. The nearest larger shops in Lepanto and Jicaral can also be reached in 10 -15 minutes. Jicaral also has a modern hospital, dentists, pharmacies, banks, gas stations, car and motorcycle maintenance and all the necessities of life. It is 25 minutes to the ferry to Playa Naranjo, and numerous good restaurants and beautiful beaches can be reached in 15 - 30 minutes.<\/p>\n
The fenced finca covers 7 hectares with an adjacent stream. This invites you to swim with its small cascades and natural pool, and there are also 2 other good springs in the country. The property has an approved building area of 75 %, which allows for further expansion or can be parceled out and partially sold. There are also two pretty bungalows that regularly bring in additional income for renting out guests and jungle experiences. There is also a rancho and a renovated stable for keeping animals. If you would like to breed fish, crabs, etc., you can use four breeding tanks.<\/p>\n
The soil is extremely fertile (no red soil) and there are already a large number of medicinal and useful plants, various fruit trees and timber. To name a few examples \u2013 lemons, tangerines, mangoes, nonis, advocados, guabanas, caimitos, zapotes, pitahayas, almonds and cashews, various types of bananas. A teak plantation was also created as an investment on the outskirts of the finca, and there are also a large number of pochotes, cedars, guanacastes, laurels, etc.<\/p>\n
The property is well maintained and left in its natural state; no spray or gift materials were used. Therefore, the rich Costa Rican biodiversity is in full swing and we enjoy many animals such as bald and howler monkeys, armadillos, coatis, iguanas, birds, colorful butterflies, mariolabia, to name just a few.<\/p>\n

House 1
\nAn architectural masterpiece with a wonderfully crafted roof lining, a 6 meter high and open interior for air circulation. The fantastically large terrace with 180\u00b0 views of the valley and the surrounding mountains leaves nothing to be desired. Every sunset is a unique and colorful experience. The covered infinity pool invites you to swim. With a nice drink, the lush wildlife and unparalleled nature can be observed even better.<\/p>\n
House 2
\nThe idyllic new building with its lush terrace and large infinity pool invites you to linger and have a barbecue. The nature and biodiversity are overwhelming. Here the howler monkeys also like to watch the bathers. The beautifully landscaped complex also offers welcome privacy. The facilities and living spaces offer state-of-the-art amenities.<\/p>\n
Bungalows
\nThe two bungalows are lovingly maintained and furnished. They offer up to 7 people a great jungle feeling and can be used as a good source of income. The main bungalow at the finca entrance can also be offered for long-term rental; it has full facilities including a kitchen for self-catering<\/p>\n
Location of the finca<\/p>\n
Our finca is quietly nestled in the jungle and hilly landscape, with breathtaking views. The property is completely fenced, is 7ha in size and can be built on with up to 75% of the total area. The houses and bungalows have been built on some of the plateaus. There is a renovated stable for keeping animals (we have three sheep), and there is also the possibility of farming fish (crabs, shrimps, etc.) (4 tanks). Two good springs are on the land and the southern end is traversed by a stream with a beautiful cascade. A teak plantation with around 150 trees was created as an investment a few years ago. The upper part of the finca offers a wonderful view of the nature reserve and has not yet been built on or used.

\nHere you can live, live, protect nature and have a good time in peace and away from the hustle and bustle. With few resources, expansion to self-sufficiency, permaculture operations and animal husbandry can be achieved. To some extent this already exists and is being used (see Flora\/Fauna). It is possible to expand into a community, but additional bungalows, houses, etc. can also be built to create a holiday village, retreat, yoga center, etc. There is definitely a demand to let go of the hamster wheel and everyday stress in nature. The natural energies here are absolutely made for this.<\/p>\n

\nHikes to the Karen Morgensen Natural Reserve with its waterfalls and natural pools, which you can enjoy alone during the week, are popular. Dinner in the Floating Restaurant or very authentic and just around the corner, with Marlon in the Bar Chacon. The beach in Lepanto with the mangroves is ideal for mudflat walks and the one in Playa Blanca is known for its beautiful white beach.<\/p>\n
