From the spacious terrace you have a sea view and can watch beautiful sunsets. The 6,789 m2 plot is located next to a nature reserve and also has views of the Gulf of Puntarenas and the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n<p>With 4 bedrooms with teak floors, 4 bathrooms, jacuzzi, 3 balconies, spacious living-dining room and kitchen, and a beautiful terrace you can feel at home. The swimming pool offers relaxation and refreshment. Depending on the season, daytime temperatures are between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius and cool down to around 18 to 20 degrees at night.<\/p>\n<p>The house, built in 2006, is located between Atenas and Orotina, in a quiet and rural residential area. Just 10 minutes from the town of Orotina, 15 minutes from Atenas and 50 in Escaz\u00fa. Very safe and quiet location, very good weather and the best neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>Other: Good access, electricity, solar panels, water, telephone, satellite TV, internet and good cell phone reception are available.<\/p>\n<p>Distances<br \/>\nThe house is located in a quiet and safe urbanization and is 8 km from the town of Orotina and approximately 15 km from Atenas. The new highway No. 27 connects San Jos\u00e9 with the Pacific, so that the capital and beaches can be reached in 30 - 40 minutes. The advantage is living in a rural area, but close to all the necessary shopping, schools, banks, doctors and restaurants. High growth in value is to be expected. Climate. Desmontes is valued as a place of residence by foreigners for its good climate and is described as one of the \u201cbest climates in the world\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Distances<br \/>\nNearest port: Puerto Caldera (30 km)<br \/>\nNearest airport: San Jose (50 km)<br \/>\nDistance to the bus: 8 km<br \/>\nDistance to shopping: 8 km<br \/>\nDistance to neighbor: 100 m<br \/>\nDistance to lake\/sea: 30 km<br \/>\nDistance to the next larger town: 8 km<br \/>\nNext larger city: Orotina\/Atenas<br \/>\nOrientation: North\/West<br \/>\nLocation: Flat, hillside<br \/>\nViews: Panoramic views of Caldera, Puntarenas, Nicoya Peninsula, Orotina, San Mateo and surrounding mountains<\/p>\n<p>Desmontes:<br \/>\nBecause of its strategic location and its mild spring climate, it is considered one of the most preferred residential areas in the country. Desmontes belongs to the province of Alajuela and is approximately 50 km northwest of San Jos\u00e9 at 600 to 800 m above sea level. In Orotina and Atenas you will find all shopping opportunities, doctors, Red Cross, pharmacies, public and private schools, banks, hardware stores, gas station, and many other service providers. In the middle of the small towns stands the church next to the central park. The residents are very friendly and open towards foreigners. Some attractive, tropical and multicultural oases have formed here where families, retirees, globetrotters seeking peace and quiet, as well as individualists can settle down and feel comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>Climate:<br \/>\nOne of the main arguments for settling in the Desmontes area is the climate. National Geographic wrote: \u201cThe best climate in the world.\u201d Most of the time you feel a light, pleasant breeze. It often rains in Heredia, San Jose or Santa Ana while the sun shines in Atenas. The average temperatures vary between 19\u00b0C - 20\u00b0C at night and between 27\u00b0C - 29\u00b0C during the day.
