Town (Parrita) 15 km. Canopy - a must for all Costa Rica travelers - is offered by a neighbor (2 km). The nearest village, Las Mesas, is just 1 km away. However, apart from a church, a school and a football pitch, there is only the beautiful landscape to see.
Parrita: is a small town located between Jaco and Quepos on the Costanera main road. The village has experienced a major upswing in recent years due to reforestation, tourism and agriculture. The next larger town is Parrita with a very good infrastructure (supermarkets, bank, pharmacy, doctors, bakery, schools, restaurants, gas station, hospital, post office, bus central station in all directions, hardware stores, workshops, and much more). The nearest beaches, Palo Seco and Playa Bandera, are within easy reach. The fashionable seaside resort of Jaco (surfing world championship 2009) can be reached via an asphalted coastal road in 40 km, Quepos with the famous Manuel Antonio National Park is 45 km away. The nearest airport is in Quepos, there is an airstrip in Parrita.
The climate; tropically warm, temperatures can reach up to 32°C during the day. At night it cools down to 22 to 24°C.
