Position
Playa Palo Seco is an approx. 9 km long sandy beach very close to the village of Parrita, partly with a river arm on the back. The estuary of the Parrita River forms the northern end of the beach.
Parrita is a small town between the main towns of Jacó to the north (30 minutes by car) and Quepos-Manuel Antonio to the south (25 minutes). Parrita has a petrol station, numerous shops, restaurants, supermarkets and also a modern hospital for outpatient treatment.
The international airport in San José is 2 hours away.
