Beautiful finca in the hinterland of Parrita with a size of 38 hectares. Approx. 9 km from the Panamericana, located directly on the road to Puriscal.
The teak farm measures 38 hectares and is planted with approx. 25 hectares of approx. 22 year old teak. There are around 7,000 teak trees with a circumference between 30 and 50 cm. A small part is new planting. The rest, approximately 8 hectares, consists of forest, bushland and a small stream runs through the farm. The terrain is hilly and has some beautiful hills with wonderful views of the mountains and the sea. Ideal for building beautiful private houses or projects after felling.
Access is on a very good gravel road (which will be tarred), electricity, water and cell phone reception are available. Internet and satellite TV can be requested.
Parrita: is a small town located between Jaco and Quepos on the Costanera main road. The village has experienced a major upswing in recent years due to reforestation, tourism and agriculture. The next larger town is Parrita with a very good infrastructure (supermarkets, bank, pharmacy, doctors, bakery, schools, restaurants, gas station, hospital, post office, bus central station in all directions, hardware stores, workshops, and much more). The nearest beaches, Palo Seco and Playa Bandera, are within easy reach. The fashionable seaside resort of Jaco (surfing world championship 2009) can be reached via an asphalted coastal road in 40 km, Quepos with the famous Manuel Antonio National Park is 45 km away. The nearest airport is in Quepos, there is an airstrip in Parrita.
The climate; tropically warm, temperatures can reach up to 32°C during the day. At night it cools down to 22 to 24°C.
